The main meal was excellent both in terms of quality and quantity but obviously reflected in the price. The only thing preventing five stars was the absolutely awful coffee. The flat white looked and tasted like brown water. Whilst the cappuccino replacement offered at least looked like a cappuccino that’s where the resemblance to good coffee ended. Staff were friendly, attentive and not over intrusive.

It's always a joy to eat at the Fleur. We were in the downstairs bar area, where it was very quiet, despite the pub being extremely busy both inside & out. The staff were kept very busy getting their steps in , but as always were extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful. Food is consistently good, however busy it is & I can wholeheartedly recommend you try it out if you haven't already.

A real Italian restaurant, although with some changes to menu style to suit local expectations, this is a welcome change from the many chain restaurants that are the same everywhere. Very good food, and a reasonably extensive and not over-priced wine list. My veal was perfectly cooked (pink), as was my wife's fish. The portion sizes are reasonable, so don't be afraid to order a couple of side dishes. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Service was perhaps just a little too rapid for my taste, I'd have preferred a slightly longer wait to finish my cocktail, and between courses, but that's very much personal preference. We will certainly return.
