The name “Ichoume” comes from the address of this street. Ichoume is located on ‘1’ Harbour Street, Darling Quarter. That’s why we named the restaurant “Ichoume” (Choume is used for addresses in Japan. It's a way of breaking a municipality into districts. 丁目(Choume) is ‘city district’, so ‘1 choume’(Ichoume) is ‘1st [city] district’).The design concept of the restaurant is a hangout for adults.The menu is supervised by AKIKO ISHIKAWA, who has accumulated her career in many restaurants.     The food is amazing - probably some of the tastiest burgers, wings, ribs, slaw and chips I have had. The great food was matched only by the service of the staff - I query whether the older men were owners, because that was the kind of feel. The attentiveness was akin to white linen fine-dining but without the stiffness. Great venue for a boys night out, though my wife and daughter would likely want to muscle in on the action. I’ll be back to try their tomahawk.

    We had antable booked for 7 people. We only waited a few minutes to be shown to our table, and were very excited we had a separate room to ourselves. The service was excellent, the food and drinks amazing and the atmosphere was fantastic. We all enjoyed our brunch very much! Ronny Yap

    Fantastic night out with my three teenage boys, they loved it. We ordered the premium meat platter and it did not disappoint. Great value for money and we all went home as full as could be. Amazing night and it’s now become a tradition as our first choice meat night !!! Be back soon
