Best Kid Friendly Restaurants in Mattapan

Excellent early-bird deal on oysters! Our group of six enjoyed several dozen as well as delicious entrees - whole-belly clams, Arctic char, and blue crab tagliatelle. Our server, only a week on the job, was superb.

Love the pizza. Busy on Sunday evening, so I was glad I made reservations.

What an incredible gem of a restaurant. I worked in the restaurant business for years at some of the best places around. The food was incredible, but it was surpassed by the graciousness of the two young women who served us. The space itself is a brick and beam holdover from 50 years ago that fits perfectly into today. Each dish we had we shared, so I got to eat a pretty good spread of the menu, all of it was well thought out, and beautifully executed.

Group dinner. Good service. Nice offering. Reasonably priced wine list.

Our first time at Publico but it won’t be our last! We went for lunch and were pleased to see a lunch special that was very affordable. But even better was the quality of the food! A great find!
