At The Matheson's third floor, adventurous cocktails are crafted from innovative spirits and seasonal fruits, flowers, and herbs. The Mugnaini wood-fired oven kindles small plates that spark the palate (and conversations). Outdoor, open-air seating amidst planters and fire-pits elevate our buzzing garden perch. El restaurante Chalkboard, inaugurado en mayo de 2013 bajo la supervisión del chef ejecutivo Shane McAnelly, ofrece un menú de platos ligeros modernos, haciendo énfasis en la temporalidad y la técnica. McAnelly elige gran parte de los productos del menú entre proveedores y granjas locales y muchos de los ingredientes proceden del propio huerto de 1,2 hectáreas del restaurante, ubicado en la cercana bodega Chalk Hill Estate Vineyards. Del menú, que cambia a diario, cabe destacar los platos en crudo y las tártaras, las pastas caseras, las ensaladas frescas, la carne asada y a la parrilla y el marisco. El comedor se ha reformado completamente y presenta un estilo contemporáneo y acogedor, con una cocina abierta, bancas nuevas, suelo de madera y acabados en hierro forjado a mano. El bar también se ha reformado para crear un ambiente animado y tiene acabados nuevos, como la encimera de bar de mármol de Carrara. El Chalkboard también ofrece catas de vino locales y una gran carta de vinos por copa.
