Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Forestville

I love this place! The rib salad is delicious and one of my go-tos. Last night it was a warm evening in Windsor and it was VERY hot inside the restaurant. I asked if the AC was broken and they said that it was not on because it cannot compete with their open fire in the middle of the restaurant. We sat at a table right next to the fire. I completely understand what was happening but it would have been nice to have a fan or something to mitigate the warmth and move the air around. We sped up our dinner to get it over with to get out of the warmth.

We treated ourselves to a delicious steak dinner. The salad and sides were unique and outstanding. The steak was cooked to perfection. Our server was attentive and on top of everything. Highly recommended.

The maitre d was charming, welcoming, and of a joyful spirit. The table was in a beautiful location and quite quiet. The woman who waited on us was extremely attentive and I am grateful for the experience.
