Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Canonsburg

Firebirds serves fresh, delicious food. There are tons of options and servers aim to please.

First time to this restaurant. They have lots of outdoor open seating although it was raining and I prefer to sit inside. The service was wonderful. Attentive but not invasive. The food was equally as wonderful. The salad was fresh and obviously made to order. I had the porcini and truffle ravioli, which was flavorful and a good size serving. Bread was offered with options for a brown sugar, butter, or an olive tapenade. A very comfortable place to dine and I will be going back.

Our hostess and servers were awesome. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly. The food was outstanding. The Crispy Calamari was crisp and thin with an orange sauce at the bottom and some delicious creamy sauce on top. There were a few slices of fried and crusted limes, which were delicious. I had the Seafood Tasting, which was cook to perfection and resting on a bed of pea pure and lentils al dente, which was awesome. My wife had the Ricotta Cavatelli, which was very tasty too. We shared the Carrot Cake for dessert, which was like a cake with a thin outside layer of something like a cheese cake and the carrot cake inside with crispy walnuts. The bill was surprisingly reasonable. We will most definitely go back when we return to Pittsburgh.

This was our first time visiting Juniper Grill. We were very happy to learn that our son with multiple food allergies could be accommodated thanks to a dedicated fryer and methods in place to prepare a meal without cross contamination. We enjoyed our meal without worry and will definitely be back!
