The waitress was exceptional as she never once failed to smile. Also anticipated our needs before we asked. Very attentive and present.

We booked for the jazz club and had pizza while we watched, it was very good and the service was amazing, would definitely go again.

The food was fantastic - we ordered the maze platter for 5 and it was huge, only 2 of us managed desert. The restaurant is directly opposite the Hippodrome theatre so was full of theatre menu clients when we arrived but quickly emptied out. The only slight downside was that it was such a hot day that they were running out of beer - not a major problem though. Next time I’m in Birmingham city centre this will definitely be on my list for a visit

We had a lovely afternoon tea at Madeline bar. Service was superb. My only criticism was that there was no vegan cream for my vegan afternoon tea. You used to provide that. Please bring it back!

Last minute late dinner just before kitchen shut - staff were brilliant!
