Beste glutenvrije restaurants in Faringdon

Following a disappointing experience across the road I’m pleased to report that The Swan put on a stellar performance. It’s “pubby” in ambience, cosy and friendly but the food was excellent and interesting. We had a lovely evening and felt welcome. I’m tall and the chairs are not so next time I’ll bring a cushion.

The Black horse is a good old country pub. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the food is excellent and very good value for money. I had the Cajun chicken burger with great, crispy fries and some very good homemade slaw. My wife had the Black Horse burger, we were both very pleased with the whole experience and we’ll be visiting again soon.

The menu was varied and the quality was exceptional. Staff couldn’t have been friendlier. Highly recommend.

Excellent food and service from helpful and friendly staff. Only minor niggle was that towards the end of our lunch the music became a bit loud.

We were originally seated by a door which was letting in a draft . We asked to be moved. A young waiter was asked. He really didn’t want to move us despite there being several no shows. He went over to another member of staff and said “you sort it, they want to move” it was really rude. Food was ok…… lacked seasoning and despite menu sounding impressive it isn’t quite there yet.
