Welcome to the Cliff Hotel in Gorleston-On Sea, a hotel and restaurant with unrivalled views of the Norfolk and Suffolk coast. The Cliff Hotel dates back to 1890 when the original hotel was opened, in 1915 the building was ravaged by fire and demolished. The old staff accommodation was renovated into a new hotel, the building that we currently occupy today. We have a vast selection of dining options from our relaxed art-deco inspired MUSE restaurant, our vibrant bar dining area or one of the biggest outside dining terraces in Norfolk. Wherever you decide to eat our menus will give you a huge variety of choice from fresh fish to steaks and grills. The Water’s Edge Restaurant and Bar is one of Norfolk’s hidden gems, situated on the River Yare, with incredible views & natural wildlife. This is a wonderful spot in summer where you can sit outside on the decking or enjoy the views from the cosy but elegant dining room.You can reach us by road or river, we are a 15 minute drive from Norwich or between Norwich and Brundall on the river, our moorings with electric hook up are free for customers, please phone to book your slot.
