- AAngelicLas Vegas •13 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoWe took my husband here to celebrate Father’s Day. The ambience was beautiful. The server was attentive and courteous, and the appetizer came out quickly. We ordered the chili crab oysters and they were delicious! The drinks (Blueberry Lemon Crush/Old Fashioned) were great, too. Dinner took a hit. The table ordered the Cioppino, the Spicy Chicken sandwich, the ceviche, and the 1/2 Nashville fried chicken. The cioppino was lovely, but the fish and shrimp were overcooked. The lemon sauce on the ceviche was unbearable and the accompanying plantain chips were unseasoned. The absolute best thing on the menu was the Nashville fried chicken. It was tender, juicy and full of flavor. I will visit again just to order this dish!More infoThe Choptank - BaltimorePrice: Moderate• Seafood• Fells Point•4.2

- MRMollyRWashington, D.C. Area •5 reviews4.0Dined 5 days agoAmpersea has a lovely location and a very kind manager and staff. They have a limited happy hour menu some of which was delicious and fresh (oysters, small but good) and their signature crab pretzel. The baked Brie was rubbery and overwhelmed by berries and nuts. The ceviche was fresh and delicious and was the best thing we ordered. The biggest problem was waiting over 30 minutes for our happy hour drinks. Apparently on a Friday night for an advertised happy hour they had one bartender staffed. That’s a huge mistake. Everyone, including tables around us, were crabby about waiting so long for their drinks.More infoAmpersea RestaurantPrice: Expensive• American• Harbor Point•4.6
