Best Gluten Free Restaurants in Downers Grove

The food and wine are always great at Coopers Hawk. Last night the service was outstanding. We arrived a few minutes early and were promptly seated. Our waiter Scott was great. Not rushing us and being there when we needed him.

We had a 4:45 reservation and they were very accommodating when we arrived 1 hour early and were able to seat our party of three. Our server Jessica S was excellent. She gave us plenty of time and was very patient as it took some time for us to decide what we wanted to eat. She explained the specials to us and came back often to see how we were doing. The food was outstanding from the Prime Rib to the plank salmon and to the east coast scallops de jonghe. We were extremely satisfied and look forward to our next visit.

So this 5 star is only if you have a Cooper’s hawk membership which I 100% recommend! My wife and I always come here and grab a bottle or 2 of wine. We also use our tastings to get a glass of wine each with dinner. So we really don’t leave here spending more than $65 or so after tip and tax so the value is amazing! I loved the spaghetti carbonara AND the cacio E Pepe. My wife likes the pizza and she gets the vodka rigatoni (minus the sausage cause she’s vegetarian). The vibe is so nice! You can come in semi fancy clothes or fancy clothes. It’s comfy. Staff is so nice too. I highly recommend dining here!

Food is always excellent! Waitress was excellent! Seating was tight , noise level in the small room we were put in was really bad as there was a table of 8 men right next to us that were VERY loud. We had to scream to talk to each other but that’s not the restaurant’s fault .. overall experience is always good.

Delicious Lunch! Salads are excellent and fresh, definitely will come for lunch again!
