- LLauraNew York City •22 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe had a wonderful celebration dinner at Red Horse. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. The service was incredible; both the wait staff and bussing staff were attentive and friendly. The food was fantastic, fresh and presented beautifully. We’ll be back to try more of the menu, especially the new Dim Sum brunch!More infoRed Horse by David Burke White PlainsPrice: Very Expensive• American• White Plains•4.2

I would highly recommend the crab cake appetizer and the branzino. We would definitely go back to this neighborhood gem.More infoDive Oyster HousePrice: Expensive• Oyster Bar• Briarcliff Manor•4.7
- JJoeNew York City •15 reviews5.0Dined on Apr 25, 2025Last night we went to Risotto to celebrate a birthday with two dear friends who had never been there before. (Don’t you just LOVE going with new friends!) Trying not to hype the place too much, we simply said, “We think you will enjoy it”. Did we ever! Risotto’s intimate, cozy atmosphere with its white and black linens, candle on the table, and soft sophisticated music playing in the background is oh so welcoming. Attentive service and tasty beverages add to your enjoyment straight away. Some new menu offerings now supplement many of our favorites. We started off with the Antipasti Misti, a generous, delectable assortment of fresh mutz, prosciutto, soppressata, provolone, roasted peppers and tomato bruschetta. Wonderful with their delicious breads! For Entrees, two ordered the uniquely prepared Pork Chop – pounded, lightly breaded, topped with melted mutz and a mushroom marsala sauce – So Satisfying & Yummy! Two others ordered the Chicken Scarparo, a wonderful variation of Scarpariello. Fork-tender chicken, thinly sliced hot & sweet Italian sausages, and linguine instead of potatoes – all the better to sop-up the delicious white wine sauce! The fabulous, assorted Dessert Platter was decadent – Italian Ricotta Cheesecake, Tiramisu, Tartufo, Crème Brule, and Cannoli – Yes, I DID sample each! Along with the platter came a large, sparkling candle, dry ice induced “smoke” for the table, and a hearty rendition of Happy Birthday from the staff. Oh, don’t forget to treat yourself to a Cappuccino! Sincere THANKS to Chef Kevin and all the staff at Risotto for again creating yet another memorable “event”!More infoRisottoPrice: Expensive• Italian• Thornwood•4.8
