We went for our anniversary and they gave us a rose, they had confetti hearts on the table along with a card. We started with a beet and goat cheese salad that was great, it had toasted pistachios on it. We also had an heirloom tomato and burrata salad that my husband loved. The lobster crab cake was delicious, it had actual chunks of lobster in it. Of course they give you a bread basket with butter which my husband loves. For the main course I had the bone-in ribeye which was cooked to perfection, and my husband had the citrus glazed salmon which came with string beans and marcona almonds. We also ordered creamed spinach, my favorite, roasted mushrooms that were really delicious, grilled asparagus and scalloped potatoes that were also delicious. We went a little crazy with the sides but we have a lot of leftovers and they will not go to waste. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. It's worth the money for the food and the amazing service you get.More infoThe Capital Grille - Garden CityPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Garden City•4.8

Love the bar city lounge vibe with all white seating and high ceilings, spacious spread out seating in main dining room as well. Large variety of meat, seafood and pasta based Italian dishes, DELICIOUS and served with impeccable service!!! Ernesto and his team flawlessly served our table. We even got to witness him belt out an impressive operatic version of Happy Birthday along with the rest of the great and friendly staff. Came last night with a large group of us, half abstaining from meat for lent. Everyone enjoyed a different meal and was raving on how good it was! Highly recommend the shrimp and crab pasta, seared tuna, veal di parm ala vodka and porterhouse special for 2 to name a few favs. Portions are large and drink menu also a win. My fav pic is the Sol di Coconut. We are hooked!More infoMangia E BeviPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Massapequa•4.8

My biggest gripe: they need to hire more servers. Our waiter, Zach, was great but you could tell he was the only capable server in the restaurant on a busy Saturday night. He handled multiple tables and multiple birthdays and any issues we had were not his fault. We could tell he was doing his best but I felt like I was chasing him for anything we needed. All in all - nice place but go on a weeknight when it's not so busy.More infoTikka Charcoal GrillPrice: Expensive• Asian• Hicksville•4.2
