Service was outstanding and provided by a very attentive team of servers. Food prices were what you would expect in Aruba, and the drink prices were lower on the lower end cost-wise. Food quality was also outstanding. I had a medium 16oz ribeye with chimichurri on the side. The steak was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of caramelization. My wife had the tenderloin cooked medium well ( sorry to the steak purists) with port wine sauce on the side. It was also cooked just right; it was still tender and not dry. The starter (salad) and sides were big enough to share. Desert was a caramelized apple concoction, a great ending to our meal.More infoAZAR Open Fire CuisinePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Aruba•4.7
- GGillianGreater Boston •11 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had the most amazing food experience with the five course tasting menu! Yes it was expensive but worth it! There were many dishes to choose from and we enjoyed every single one. I started with ceviche, then suck confit, then a rabbit dish with pasta followed by sea bass in a coconut foam/sauce. The grand finale was the “Choco L8” a decant chocolate dessert which I cannot put into words. A truly delicious meal and a wonderful experience.More infoMarmalade Restaurant & Wine BarPrice: Very Expensive• Fusion / Eclectic• San Juan•4.9
- AAlexanderCalifornia Central Coast •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoReservation is a must. $$$ Great service! Alvaro (our service host) and all the staff work together to be on point. I had the Lacon Asado...excellent!! Tender inside, nicely crusted outside. The potato salad was good. I tasted the rice that was served with the filet, delicious!! I did not taste the filet. Friends said it was good. Shrimp Trifongo was also well presented and tasty. Drinks were well served and mixed well (old fashions, vodka martinis, espresso martini, vodka tonics) Great music and ambiance.More infoSantaellaPrice: Expensive• Puerto Rican• San Juan•4.8

The setting is enchanting under the stars, with tables spread out in a lush garden, enhancing the Caribbean vibe. Live music adds to the relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for a memorable evening. **Menu & Cuisine:** Madame Janette's menu is a delightful blend of Caribbean flavors with European influences. The dishes are generously portioned, showcasing both creativity and quality. Popular dishes include the almond-crusted grouper, which was praised for its freshness and flavor, and the lobster ravioli which offers a taste of the sea with a sophisticated twist. Their selection of schnitzels and steaks also gets high marks for taste and presentation. The restaurant also boasts an extensive selection of craft beers and an excellent wine list to complement your meal. **Service:** The staff at Madame Janette's are noted for their friendliness and attentiveness. Service can be relaxed, which aligns with the laid-back vibe of the place, though some reviewers have mentioned it can be a bit slow at times. However, the overall consensus seems to be that the service adds to the charm of the dining experience. **Special Features:** - **Live Music:** Every night brings different melodies, enhancing the dining experience. - **Craft Beer:** One of the largest craft beer selections in the Caribbean, making it a haven for beer enthusiasts. - **Gluten-Free Options:** They cater to those with dietary restrictions, offering a good selection of gluten-free dishes. **Critiques:** While generally well-loved, some reviews mention that the quality might not be consistent across all visits, with a few diners feeling the food quality has dipped in recent years. Additionally, the open-air setting means you might encounter bugs, which can be a minor annoyance. **Overall EMore infoMadame JanettePrice: Very Expensive• International• Aruba•4.7
