We are so grateful for Gertrude's support of Senior Network, a GEDCO program. Everyone knows that Gertrude's is my favorite restaurant, and we are so grateful to John and his team for making the night special for all who attended.

The Capital Grille always has outstanding service and great food whether it’s Baltimore inner harbor, Hoboken or NYC.

The brunch menu prepared by Chef Mario was unique and adventurous, but not out of touch for casual diners. The pastries were phenomenal we chose the Kouign-Amann which were flawless and so delicious as well as the Cheddar, Jalapeño and chive scones. Both were served with butter and jam. She had the Chicken and waffles that came with a harissa-kohlrabi slaw and ginger-lime maple syrup. Spicy,sweet and complex on the palate. I had the Chesapeake Benny, poached eggs, maryland crab on top of a breaded fried green tomato with tarragon hollandaise, grilled asparagus and home fries! Every bite was intensely pleasing. Each dish was plated beautifully and each component worked so well together. We got more pastries to go home with. Our server, Andrea was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the food she was serving and its presentation. She was kind enough to gift us her favorite scone flavor on the house! I can honestly say it was the best meal (not just brunch) I’ve had all year. Thanks! Matt and Jodi
