    Our first visit to Michael’s and definitely won’t be our last! We absolutely loved everything about it - the ambiance was friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked through the door, the venue is small making it feel personal and the food was outstanding - the best we have tasted for a long time. The menu provided choices to suit us all snd we thought the small plate/large plate options were ideal. We’ve found a local treasure which we will highly recommend although it’s so good we’d rather like to keep it to ourselves! Don’t change a thing, just keep offering the best food experience in Holt.

    Great food and friendly attentive staff. Our first visit to the Red Lion and will definitely come again. Whitebait and crevettes starters. Niçoise salad and belly pork mains. Delicious and shared a dessert of hot cross bun bread and butter pudding and ice cream. Good selection of beers too.
