The Pub with its oak beams and two inglenook fireplaces proffers a warm and cosy atmosphere in the winter, whilst our terrace is perfect to enjoy a drink and food in the summer months. Being a free house we pride ourselves in the quality of our real ale, and concentrate on local breweries, such as Harvey's of Lewes and other micro breweries. Our food is cooked to order, using fresh, seasonal and where possible locally sourced ingredients. Fantastic American style menu. Value for money and a great experience. The new owners have kept the old features but opened it inside and the garden areas are attractive too.

The food was outstanding, portion sizes good. The fish soup was excellent and the other dishes were not bad either. Would go back again in a shot. The pub itself was a little run down but this adds to the charm . The service was OK but probably not enough servers as the two on yesterday, although very friendly, were very busy. David

First time trying the White Hart and the Sunday roast didn't dissappoint. Portion sizes were ample and it was delicious. Service was a little slow but this wasnt an issue. Lovely atmosphere and very dog friendly. Well definitely be back again.
