The Kings Arms lies deep in the heart of the East Devon countryside.     Wow what an amazing find. We were going to Sidmouth for couple of days for my partners birthday and I was googling places to eat and found the Marine. It had good reviews so thought I would book it for the Tuesday evening of my partners birthday. So glad I did. We had a stunning meal. Right on the seafront, very friendly and attentive staff. I had the trio of fish which was on the specials board. Was delicious, freshly cooked, the waiter told us the fish was fresh from Brixham that day. The flavours, just wow. I had to the roasted thyme new potatoes and vegetables with lemon hollandaise. The flavours were just wow. Best fish dish I have ever tasted. My partner had the fish and chips which was delicious served with a homemade tartare sauce. Desserts were also lovely. Will definately return again when we are next in Sidmouth and would highly recommend the Marine to anyone.

    We chose the two courses for £13.00 which was amazing value, kids had Hunters chicken …. Said it was delicious. My husband had burger which he was raving about. I had mushroom & tarragon pudding (it was tasty but was a pie not a pudding & sadly did not come with new potatoes as advertised but instant mash). It was nicely presented & good value. Wouldn’t have wanted to have paid full price for mine.
