Best Dog Friendly Restaurants in Bridgeport

The Guinness itself of course was wonderful. Our group had burgers, French onion soup, the Reuben sandwich, and the "Dublin Spice Bag". The burgers, reuben sandwich, and onion soup were good (a little heavy on the croutons...). The Dublin Spice Bag was disappointing. About 5 or 6 chunks of chicken scattered on a large bed of fries, with some peppers and onions. Ho-hum. We were wondering about the seasoning on the fries. Our server found out it was "Chinese five-spice". Some of our group liked it, others did not. Service was friendly and prompt. Will *we* go back? Probably not, but our group is probably not in their target demographic. We're all "seniors" that took the train in from the 'burbs to get there. Finally, please note that their liquor license ONLY allows for the sale of beer. No other alcohol in the building. They have more beers than just regular Guinness, but it's ONLY beer. My buddy and I were hoping for a shot of Jameson to go with the Guinness, but no luck. I can see where this place will appeal to the young-uns in the west-loop area. Plenty of seating, outdoor seating available, music, TVs, etc.

The food and drinks were delicious! Lucia is the best! Drinks were delicious, compliment to the bartenders! Will be back!

Taramosalata is a fave treat and these folks do a wonderful version. Spying other folks’ tables persuades me to return often enough to work my way through the menu.

Great cucumber martini and steak salad (special) for lunch.
