The food was fantastic - we ordered the maze platter for 5 and it was huge, only 2 of us managed desert. The restaurant is directly opposite the Hippodrome theatre so was full of theatre menu clients when we arrived but quickly emptied out. The only slight downside was that it was such a hot day that they were running out of beer - not a major problem though. Next time I’m in Birmingham city centre this will definitely be on my list for a visit

Wonderful, enjoyable evening, food and service excellent - will definitely go again. We dined early-ish which meant it wasn’t very busy. However, next time I would take a wrap/jacket as ac was fierce, it was 28 degrees outside, also meant food cooled quickly. Our dining experience was marred only by a very loud conversation and use of bad language by diners at another table which was a shame - appreciate not Gaucho’s fault.

We always enjoy a visit to The Ivy Birmingham especially when celebrating a birthday and going to watch a show at The Hippodrome. Staff very efficient and professional. Food delicious.

We had a lovely afternoon tea at Madeline bar. Service was superb. My only criticism was that there was no vegan cream for my vegan afternoon tea. You used to provide that. Please bring it back!

Food was amazing, the decor was unique, making it very interesting, the service was good, it’s worth the price you pay. Will definitely eat again
