A superb first meal at Orwells. From the warm greeting to the "goodbyes" at the end of a lovely evening, we had an exceptionally fine experience. The food is stunning, innovative, beautifully presented and delicious. The service is highly professional and efficient, the pace was just right, and friendly. Everything was done "properly" if you know what we mean by that. We chose a Romanian wine that was recommended by the chef which was a new one for us and great value for the quality. Excellent food choices, well prepared and presented. Delightful salmon nigiri starter. Warm chickpea salad could have been served at higher temperature and with a few more additional vegetables but, had excellent flavours. Chocolate parfait pudding - truly scrumptious! Service was excellent. Thanks to attentive staff who enabled a very pleasant evening.
