Best Date Night Restaurants in Simpson Bay

The food, drinks, and service were amazing. Truly lived up to our expectations. Highly recommend attending this restaurant experience when staying at the Divi Little Bay resort.

Steaks were good but the menu is lacking in their potatoe offerings. Only had mashed potatoes and truffle wedge potatoes..,,No baked potato, no home fries, no French fries. Also checked off we were celebrating birthdays when I made the reservation but they did not acknowledge it at all. Last, the location is down several flights of stairs so it’s not recommended for people with issues walking.

We had great expectations of this restaurant - and for the view and the layout these were met. You have a great view whether you sit inside or on the outdoor deck of the Maho and Simpson Bay area. If you look off the end of the deck you see the SXM runway - a great view at night too when all lit up. The ambiance was great too. Staff from the shuttle driver, to the man who came out to walk us in with an umbrella and the waitress were exceptional. As we had several great meals on the island, we thought this would be one of the best but it was just 'ok'. The crab dumplings were on the cold side, chewy and very small for the price. The shrimp tempura was very good. The salmon was an exceptionally large portion and tasted very good. The pad thai I would not recommend though - it was gluey, extremely vinegary tasting - and we simply could not eat it. Despite leaving most of it in the bowl - no one asked us about how the food was. Also, there was a female 'manager' there that was reprimanding a male staff member about not filling the water glasses at another table right in the middle of the restaurant. Found that very unprofessional. My recommendation is this is a great place to go for the view, have a drink at the bar, but look for reviews on the food as it seems a bit of a hit or miss
