The Story of Josephine’sThe story of Josephine’s begins during our executive chef Daniel LeBoon’s childhood. At eight years old, working for his father’s catering company, Daniel discovered a passion for food. This love — and undeniable talent — saw him intern at Philadelphia’s prestigious Le Bec-Fin. He went on to work in Paris at the venerable Hotel Vernet working under the renowned chef’s Alain Solvere and Alain Ducasse. In 2004, Daniel purchased Josephine’s in Marietta and developed an extremely loyal following based on the combination of great food, great atmosphere and great hospitality.     We began our evening with drinks at the bar. The atmosphere and service there was wonderful. I would not recommend a Lemon Drop martini, but my husband enjoyed his martini. We loved the wedge and wasabi Caesar salads. We both had steaks for dinner which were good, not great. The asparagus was delicious. We were celebrating our 46th anniversary which the restaurant confirmed ahead of time, but there was no celebration, while there were numerous celebrations around us.

    Went for the first time, wanted to experience a nice roof top bar/restaurant. The ambience is nice, the service was good but we ordered the steak and it was awful. The fries tasted better. People say the pizza is good but we didn’t try it. We had the olives with crostini for an app and that was good. The view was nice and the drinks were very good! Would probably try again but maybe order a pizza.
