Excellent food, service and atmosphere ! We had a great time.

Always serves up great food with prompt and polite service. However it is disappointing that a cafe of this calibre neglects tea drinkers. An order of tea arrives as a pot with a tea bag inserted. So the customer is paying for a pot meant to provide two cups worth, instead of a cup resulting with the tea at half strength. What's wrong with using tea leaves? On my next visit i ordered a soy chai instead. This was also undrinkable .

Food was sensational. Carefully prepared and treat the menu selection more as degustation, than starter main and dessert. The dishes are small but perfectly formed, and deserve to be savoured rather than gobbled down. My advice is to take your time and enjoy a larger number of small dishes. Yes, we had a shaky start with service. Sat for 25 mins without any one checking in on our small group, but the gentleman serving offered a very honest explanation of an unexpected delay, and resolved our initial concerns ongoing. The restaurant was quiet when we went there, which felt a little intimidating. But the ambience was intimate and I would think it would be the same if it was busier. The service was attentive but not overly, which was great. The food was really delicious and good sized portions. Would dine there again!
