Best Cozy Restaurants in Queensbury

I took my husband here for the second year in a row for his birthday- the food , service and atmosphere are all phenomenal- my husband and I shared the salad wedge and I had the shrimp po boy as my dinner and Billy had the strip steak- delish! All around!

An hour to get there and an hour to get back to Schenectady, but it was worth it. Dignified fine dining. My filet Mignon was excellent. Companions' meals were very satisfying. Too bad we don't have much of this quality of peaceful dining in the capital district, but we now know where to go.

Park & Elm is a very nice upscale-ish restaurant, at least within the context of Glens Falls (it's not a Michelin level sort of place, but that is to be expected considering the location). The selection of dishes is varied and interesting, and the wine list is much better than other such places in town. This is certainly the best upscale-ish restaurant in town at the moment (we have been to all of them, multiple times).

We were there on Thanksgiving day for the Thanksgiving buffet. It was fantastic. Food was hot, plentiful, more than you would’ve expected. The dessert table was outstanding. Our server was just perfect, couldn’t have asked for more. The restaurant provided us a special vegetarian stuffing for our table, which was greatly appreciated. The ambience was just beautiful. We did not feel like we were in a big banquet hall or one of many. We had our own very beautiful little table and felt at home and relaxed and had a wonderful time.
