Halfmoon​の居心地の良いお店

We had reservations for 5:30 on a Friday night, before heading to Cohoes Music Hall. We were seated promptly. They became very busy in the next 1/2 hour. After our drinks were delivered, we were not asked about ordering food for at least 20 minutes. We did flag someone to take our order. Maybe they were a little short-staffed that night, as the hostess/waitress and bartender seemed to tag-team. Overall, we did get our dinners in time to enjoy them and get to the show on time. The food was very good and the drinks were well-made. I look forward to our next visit.

We are visiting in Albany as my husband has a surgery scheduled. We were overjoyed to find this restaurant which coincidentally was connected to the hotel where we were staying. Being unfamiliar with the area, we were unsure how it would go. My husband is a very picky eater, who cooks for our family at home and is rarely satisfied with a meal at a restaurant. However, he ordered the prime rib special since it was Wednesday night and he was blown away! He said it was the best prime rib he had ever eaten and that says a lot coming from him. In addition, the atmosphere was warm and colonial and our waiter was outstanding. We will definitely come here again if we’re in the area and we highly recommend it for others.

Love the pizza and manhattans! The plants make the whole restaurant feel so cozy, yet fresh! Highly recommend!
