Excellent service, excellent food. We had a lovely server look after us who impressed us with her interaction with the some members of the deaf community sitting next to us, she was very friendly and responsive. The food was delicious. I had the prawn bisque spaghettini and apple tart for dessert, we didn't have to wait long for the food to arrive, I couldn't fault anything, although it is on the pricey side.

Had a lovely week day lunch with female relatives. Our waitress Jacinta was so lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She even took a group photo for us. We had entrees, amazing mains and great cakes and coffee. This Restaurant is a family favourite of ours. Highly recommend.

Even though Olivine is a wine bar, I mostly go there for the delicious food. The steak, chicken, terrine & pate, the brussels sprouts (swoon) and fries are all great. The wine's always good too. The fitout looks lovely, but sadly the designers prioritised form over function - the cell bench seating is really uncomfortable! Nevertheless, the ambience is great and I like the idea of us all collectively creating a new, more positive cultural memory to sit alongside the history of the place. If you haven't been, I definitely recommend a visit. Do leave time to check out the historical info in the unrestored cells; it feels important to honor and try to understand the story of the place while we're there.
