I loved this place! my son is Coeliac and this is the first place we have been too where we did not have to worry or ask questions and he felt good about eating out! The customer service was outstanding, they were so welcoming and lovely to us all and made him feel amazing also. We all walked out feeling great. Great food, delivered quickly and amazing, ticks all the boxes, will definately be going back.

Even though Olivine is a wine bar, I mostly go there for the delicious food. The steak, chicken, terrine & pate, the brussels sprouts (swoon) and fries are all great. The wine's always good too. The fitout looks lovely, but sadly the designers prioritised form over function - the cell bench seating is really uncomfortable! Nevertheless, the ambience is great and I like the idea of us all collectively creating a new, more positive cultural memory to sit alongside the history of the place. If you haven't been, I definitely recommend a visit. Do leave time to check out the historical info in the unrestored cells; it feels important to honor and try to understand the story of the place while we're there.
