Long before we became farmers, our passion was food. For Linda, farm owner and chef, her love of food started in the kitchen at home with her Mom and over the years, she has immersed herself in everything food including learning how to produce it.Today, we bring all those shared experiences to The Farmers’ Porch. Our menus are inspired by the bounty of our greens, vegetables and fruits that are available in our fields throughout the year and by other local farmers, producers and artisans in our area who share our passion. You’ll see at least five seasonal menus from May to the end of November. A true farm-to-fork experience, your meal will have that just picked flavor that you can only get when your food is grown in the same place it’s prepared, The Farmers’ Porch.

    We are always so pleased with our experience at the Rail Trail Flatbread Co. The food and drinks are always delicious. We are amazed with the people working here. Everyone works together so well. It is a well organized restaurant. We love sitting in a booth near the pizza oven.

    Last weekend, we celebrated my friend’s birthday at Twenty8 food & spirits, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting — perfect for a special occasion. The staff greeted us with genuine smiles. We started with appetizers — the truffle fries were crispy and wings were full of flavor. Everyone at the table seemed impressed with their dishes. One of the highlights was definitely the cocktail menu. The bartender clearly knew their craft — my old fashioned was smooth and balanced. Overall, restaurant did a great job making the evening feel celebratory without being over-the-top. Great food, attentive service, and a lovely ambiance. We’ll definitely be back.
