Biggin Hall’s oak-beamed restaurant possesses an abundance of character and is as cosy by candlelight in the evening as it is beautiful during the day with breathtaking views. Many of the ingredients are of local origin, with the accent on free-range, wholefoods, and natural flavours, together with a seasonal selection of vegetables. The emphasis of the menu is on simplicity and taste. Meals are imaginatively planned and freshly cooked with daily changing menus featuring a set course with a vegetarian option. It is this straightforward approach to cooking that allows the quality of the ingredients to shine through.Please be aware we do not accept children under the age of 12 years old at dinner time or for overnight stays.

Here are the White Horse Inn @ Woolley Moor, we don’t make a song and dance about our menus as we believe that the food should just speak for itself. We have a great chefs who make the most of all the fabulous produce that the local area has to offer.Where possible we always look to source locally from the Peak District and Derbyshire making the most of seasonal fruit and vegetables as well as locally reared meat and locally produced dairy. We follow the seasons closely to offer food that is fresh and appropriate to the time of year, providing full flavours that will satisfy the heartiest appetite.In addition to our regular menus, we also offer a specials board that changes on a regular basis, featuring an extra selection of starters, main courses, and desserts. It's always worth checking to see what else we have to offer – you will not be disappointed!Please note that, unfortunately, due to staff shortages, we are having to change our food service hours.

The Chequers Inn is a 14th century building with as much charm as it has history. Owned by Jonathan & Joanne Tindall since 2002, this cosy inn is also a hotel, serving as a brilliant base for exploring the Peak District, whether it be a visit to Chatsworth House or a walk along Froggatt Edge. Boasting an AA Rosette, the food at The Chequers ranges from the classic fish and chips and burgers to the seasonally-changing dishes such as lamb rump, seabass and vegetable pithivier. The proper steak and ale pie, however, is the fan favourite, and is even available to take home! Throughout the summer, the large woodland garden is the perfect place for a refreshing drink or a bite to eat, whereas in the winter, the two log fires make the pub warming and comfortable, making The Chequers Inn the perfect place to visit any time of year.

Red Dog is an authentic Bar and American BAR-B-Q restaurant, serving 18-hour roast ribs, brisket, aged chuck steak burgers and much more, all best enjoyed with tasty cocktails or milkshakes.Barbeque grew up in the South of the USA where cooks learned to slow roast cuts of meat over fire pits to make them tender. Exposure to the smoke of the smouldering wood added a distinctive smoky and juicy taste to the meat. Our award-winning smokers have been imported from the USA and are built to recreate the cooking process of those original fire pits. We use the traditional American woods of hickory and mesquite to give a full smoke flavour, and the meat stays in the smoker for up to 18 hours.
