Best Cozy Restaurants in Avalon / Oglethorpe Mall Area

Four of us had dinner at Local 11ten during our visit to Savannah. Food was delicious and the service was excellent. But i rated value lower because my cabbage, which was delicious, was over $30 - for a head of cabbage with no sides! And the pate over pumpkin bread appetizer for $23 was literally 8 bites - 2 per person. Lovely evening but prices seemed high relative to other upscale establishments in the area.

Had such a lovely time while in Savannah visiting. Zach was our server and he was absolutely fantastic! As someone who doesn’t drink alcohol but still enjoys a good mocktail he convinced me to try the Left Hook and it was delicious! He kept us laughing all night with his energy and banter! The food itself was amazing. I really enjoyed the Ceaser and the dressing was super creamy and flavorful! I had a burger in a lettuce wrap and it was also amazing. My husband enjoyed the fish and chips and our desserts were so rich! Prices were incredible for the meals and drinks! Can’t wait to be back!

Our server was super friendly and helpful. Starting off with a fresh baked honey biscuit. I had the 1790 signature salad and the melt in your mouth Short ribs. Hubby had Miss Annette’s crab stew which he says is the best in Savannah. We are locals, hubby is originally from Maryland so he is kind of a crab expert. He also had the Oyster Rockefeller and Shrimp Scampi ( yes he was hungry. He thought they were great and very filling. There is a piano player every night. And this time of year they have the fireplace on and it’s very cozy and romantic. Highly recommend!

We’ve been regular customers for 15 yrs & every visit has been memorable … from the time we enter the restaurant, to greeting our server. Tonite it was Jasmine Outstanding service! Lovely little neighborhood restaurant specializing in Greek food. The spinach pie is amazing as is the feta cheese pasta. Highly recommend.
