We went to celebrate an anniversary. We have always enjoyed our experience at the Elkridge Furnace Inn. From the moment when I dropped by a few days before to set up how to present a special piece of jewelry for my wife during our dinner they were very accommodating and understanding. When we arrived for our reservation a little early, we were seated immediately. We love that the tables are very well spaced and we don't have to hear about someone else's life and kids.... Our server, Tony, from the get go was outstanding. He made it very obvious that he was there to add to our dining experience and not just getting a paycheck. Chef Dan came by to help us select a wine for our dinner, it was beyond perfect. As far as the food, it was as expected and over the top. Right now, I'm still thinking about the braised lamb shank. Overall - presentation, hospitality and food were well worth it. We'll be heading back as occasions arise or when we're in the mood.

Always a great experience at Blackwall. I think it is the best place in Columbia for burgers at lunch. I have eaten burgers for lunch at most of the other Columbia restaurants, but Blackwall's burgers are definitely superior. service was also excellent.

Amazing experience as always! The servers are always amazing, the food and drinks are exceptional, and the staff in general are so friendly and welcoming.
