Best Cozy Restaurants in Alvechurch

Food was decent. On entry we had to wait as only 1 floor staff was on. Cocktail was 2-4-1 on selected drinks. The draught was not working. So resulting in having bottle beer costly. Was our anniversary which was stated on boking but nothing special offered. My opinion for here perfect for buisness meetings in the day can't comment on the night time ambiance. Very pricey

Popped into Ye Olde Horseshoes for a Sunday roast and was thoroughly impressed. The beef roast was excellent – perfectly pink in the middle, tender, and full of flavour. The roast potatoes were just how I like them: golden and crispy on the outside, fluffy inside. The vegetable medley was fresh and well-cooked, and the gravy tied everything together beautifully. The Yorkshire puddings deserve a special mention – huge, fluffy, and delicious. We were seated in a cosy room that stayed cool despite the heat outside, which I found very comfortable, although my dad thought it was a bit chilly. Prices were reasonable for the quality: £21.50 for the roast, with pints around £5–£6, and a 10% service charge added – fair for the great service we received. Overall, a lovely pub lunch with great food and atmosphere. Would definitely return!

Not as busy a sunday service as usual, but nevertheless family time with littlies. Never mind, FOOD & SERVICE AS GOOD AS ALWAYS . WE WILL RETURN!

Lovely spot for lunch with very professional and courteous staff. Highly recommend.
