Since 2006, The LakeHouse restaurant has been the jewel of Bay Shore, NY. In the summer of 2016, owners Eileen & Matthew Connors and Jay Gut moved locations to a brand new dockside treasure.     I absolutely love Salt & Barrel and keep coming back for so many reasons! On my latest visit, Jared the busboy and Manny our server were an amazing team—super attentive in keeping our table spotless and fresh the whole time. Manny deserves a special shout-out. He’s incredibly knowledgeable about all the oysters and entrees, and he made great recommendations. What impressed me even more was how he picked up on a tiny social cue: he noticed I wasn’t drinking my cocktail and sensed I didn’t love it, even though I was too shy to say anything. Without missing a beat, he brought me the menu and guided me to a new drink that was absolutely perfect. Service like this makes Salt & Barrel feel special every time. I’ll definitely keep coming back!

    We celebrated my son’s birthday at Tellers earlier this week. The service, attention and friendliness they showed was exceptional. They made us feel very welcome. The food was also top notch. The oysters were fresh - we ended up ordering them twice and the meat was to perfection.

    Portions of food were a bit small for the price, some things were good, some not so much. Staff could not have been any more attentive, and very nice 10+ for them. Had a great time listening to live music. Would go back
