Our Chef’s take inspiration from Billy Madison who drew a blue duck because he had never seen one before, and he wanted to see a blue duck! Well, since our chefs love classic Adam Sandler humor and innovative cooking, we thought that Bleu Duck was the perfect name to showcase our fun environment and staff as well as our unique and creative menu. Just like Billy, we like to try things that you’ve never seen before!  Bleu Duck Kitchen and Oyster Bar is a full service restaurant that provides a fun and welcoming atmosphere where white linens meet a casual feel to create the new concept of “fun-dining”.     First time to dine here since the new ownership took over. It was easy to make reservations on line but a bit confusing when the confirmation from open table came from a different restaurant in town. Nice menu that could use more than one steak on it. Service was good, but not outstanding and it was slow service for a Tuesday night when it wasn’t very busy. Very good lobster bisque soup and good al dente noodles on the pappardelle. Will try again.

    Food was amazing, and the service was thoughtful and considerate. It was a great experience for us, that could have been bad, when my husband became ill. Everyone just quietly and efficiently helped cover his distress, and turned a difficult time into one where we felt cared for and acknowledged with empathy. Wonderful food and kindness, when he was feeling embarrassed is a great skill. It says so much about them. Go for the food. Enjoy the ambience and know there is empathy.
