Lovely pub. Good selection on the menu. Reasonable prices. Would go again

Lovely looking pub with a classic menu done well. We both had Fish & Chips which were very good. I swapped my fat chips for skinny fries and my partner was jealous.

Good set menu and food generally very good. Fish was a bit "thin" in the fish and chips. Service from the kitchen was very slow, which did drag the meal out a lot longer than expected ( I am guessing staffing issues), but it was still an enjoyable evening. Will not put us out visiting again and would recommend a try.

We enjoyed ourselves at The Lamb. Everything was just right for a very pleasant lunchtime celebration.

Easy to book via Open Table including a time amendment. Took my daughter for dinner on a Saturday evening. We were greeted by a bar man on entering and were immediately seen to a very nice table for 4 even though there were two of us giving us plenty of room. Service was prompt and informative. We ordered the warm Sourdough to start which was fresh and nicely warm. My daughter had the Chicken Schnitzel and loved it. I had the Lamb Pave with Moroccan couscous and roasted veg, which was delicious. To finish we indulged in the warm chocolate fondant cake with melted chocolate inside, ice cream and white chocolate sauce. All in all a fabulous experience.
