Hyde Park Daytona never disappoints! The place was hopping early with diners enjoying a fine meal before the Nutcracker scheduled at the Peabody. No delays for us as we were served promptly by our favorite waiter Chris. The cocktails were ice cold and the soup hot! The petite filets were cooked perfectly to order and the chicken Milanese was to die for. Whenever we are in town, we go every Friday at 5:30 to watch the ocean and wind down…try to get a booth inside along the rail for one of the best views in town. For those who like to eat at the bar, you need to go early or it is standing room only.

Chef Sylvia recipes are amazing! Our waietr Nicky was a huge complimemt to all of her dishes. She has such a creative approach to her spruced-up pickled peppers deviled eggs, while she fabulously enhanced her fried green tomatoes and OMG on her soup of the day which was the most flavorful soup we've ever tried! The staff dressed in holiday pajamas amongst inside and outside gingerbreaf house Christmas theme ambience with live music 🎶 under the gorgeously decorated outside gazebo each table well equipped with warm space heaters was the best setting for our brunch date! Can't wait to come back for dinner and dessert!
