Dinner at MYA – Top of Glendale was a dream for any sushi enthusiast. With the city skyline stretching endlessly in every direction, the rooftop setting alone is worth the visit—but the sushi takes it to another level. I started with the Bluefin Toro Nigiri, which was unbelievably tender and rich, practically dissolving on the tongue. The Yellowtail Jalapeño offered a perfect blend of bright citrus and subtle heat, while the MYA Signature Roll was a standout—spicy tuna, creamy avocado, and crunchy tempura flakes topped with seared salmon and a luscious house sauce that tied everything together beautifully. The quality of the fish was exceptional, and the attention to detail in both preparation and presentation made each plate feel like a work of art. The atmosphere was sophisticated yet relaxed, and the staff made the experience even better with their thoughtful recommendations and attentive service. Whether you’re out for a special night or simply craving top-tier sushi with a view that stuns, MYA delivers elegance, flavor, and ambiance in one unforgettable package.

What a quaint location! We had we had a wonderful server named Sophia. She was so helpful in our menu choices. The afternoon tea experience was so delightful and the sandwiches, scones, and tea were absolutely delicious! Definitely well worth the drive from Orange County! 

The food was quite tasty. We asked to sit upstairs which was very nice, but then a large party with young children in sports uniforms sat at a long table next to us and it became very noisy. Not sure if their blue cheese dressing is different than most, but I asked for it on the side and it looked like a Ranch dressing. I asked if I could exchange it for Blue cheese, but what they brought looked and tasted more like Ranch than Blue cheese. So not sure if their Blue cheese dressing is more like a Ranch dressing... But my hard chicken taco and beef tamale was delicious!
