We stay true to Italy's culinary standards to retain the natural freshness and flavors of our dishes, which makes us one of the ONLY restaurants in the US to never incorporate artificial flavorings, colorings, or preservatives, nor do we use corn syrups in any of our beverages. We take pride in guaranteeing that none of our offerings contain GMO fruits, vegetables, or processed seed oils. Our olive oil, frying oil, flour, and sauce are all imported from Italy, while our meat, seafood and produce are sourced locally. We strive to replicate the culinary experiences that we find when we visit the Amalfi Coast. Our hometown, Vico Equense, is referred to as the “Gateway to the Amalfi Coast” and the "Food Capital of Italy". Directly across from Monte Vesuvio, Vico is rich with the same soil as the San Marzano area. We aim to share the cherished memories cooking with Nonna. Caracara serves authentic, upscale Mexican food in a comfortable setting. Couples, families and singles will feel at home in our dining room or tequila lounge.     Food and service was very good. Bar scene was loud and livery making it uncomfortable to talk in dining room. Perhaps after happy hour it may be better.

    We have been going to CaraCara since it opened. It’s consistently been one of our favorite local restaurants and that’s not something that is easy to achieve considering how difficult the restaurant business is. We had the tableside guac, a delicious frozen drink each, paella and salmon. We were given churros on the house which were scrumptious. This is an all around excellent choice when you’re hungry for quality dining.

    Had a lovely dinner for my friend's bday. Tues-Thursday they offer a 3 course price fixed menu & additions to their regular menu for this week. We were very happy with our choice of cocktails off their Spring menu (Strawberry Lemon Drop & Lavender Dream). We both ordered of the 3 course menu which included an app, entree, dessert & a glass of wine for $49. We each started with a Caesar salad. My friend had the pappardelle Bolognese & I had the Pollo Brasato (chicken, spicy sausage). Both were delicious! In fact my friend ate the whole thing which she never does. Dessert was Gelato & tiramisu with our glass of wine. 🙂
