Good food great atmosphere great service. Great for happy hour

My friend and I recently had dinner at Elliott’s Craft Kitchen. The warm crusty bread was excellent as was their choice of olive oil for dipping. My friend had the Caprese Salad which comes with two or three thick slices of red ripe tomato with olive oil and basil and then on top of that is a fresh burrata. She could have added some chicken or some steak to the plate of Caprese to make it a meal. I chose the roasted herbed half chicken with mashed potatoes and haricot verts which were cooked to perfection. Their wine selection is pretty good, hitting all the regions on red wine that I enjoy: Williamette Valley, Côtes du Rhône, Paso Robles, d’Abruzzo, Columbia Valley, Mendoza… Next time, I want to try their Duck Bao Buns appetizer and their Cheesecake dessert and one of their cocktails or mocktails. They also have a nice selection of beer on tap.

The restaurant is great for a casual night out. My steak was a bit over cooked but still tasty and was a great value for the set menu price. At first, I was a bit surprised at the small plate set in front of us. I was not expecting a second helping of the same plate to arrive after we finished the first!

Our waiter Chris was great!! He was the best, very knowledgeable and funny.
