Welcome to The Black Swan. Inspired by the pubs I fell in love with on my various travels, this re-interpretation of the neighborhood Public House represents an eclectic and updated take on the traditional pub. The Black Swan explores, embraces and combines various cultural influences to appeal to different tastes, offering unique and innovative dishes like Indian-inspired curries and pastas alongside more classic dishes like Shepherd’s Pie and Fish and Chips. Belmonte’s Ristorante crafts fine Italian cuisine in its elegant and charming eatery, located in the seaside resort town of Asbury Park. For starters, the portabella mushrooms stuffed with eggplant, spinach and mozzarella and the battered artichoke hearts Francese make excellent choices. If pasta is what you are craving, Belmonte’s Ristorante has many delightful choices, such as the potato gnocchi in a meaty Bolognese sauce, the shrimp pappardelle Roma with mushrooms and asparagus and the fettuccini Frankie with crumbled sausage, escarole and beans. It was SO delicious! Our waiter was so great and very attentive. The manager was helpful and attentive as well. I haven’t been to Barrio in a a few years, because they didn’t have great vegan and gluten free options. NOW they do and they were AMAZING! I cannot wait to go back! It was my birthday and they were incredibly kind and gave me a birthday card and gift card, which I was not expecting. It was such an awesome gesture and I will go back for the food, yummy drinks and great service!!!
