Best Brunch Restaurants in New Jersey

Nicholas Barrel and Roost continues to delight with each visit. For my most recent meal, the beet/arugula salad was plentiful, and the halibut entree was also delish, a nice throwback to the restaurant's previous fine dining incarnation. The desserts are also a decent size to split between several people, for those who want to end the meal on a sweet note but don't want an individual portion. I always look forward to going back.

My husband and I ordered the charred colossal shrimp for an appetizer. Delicious just with it same with more than 3. I had the special caraway wild salmon with yellow beets and Swiss chard. It was very tasty but definitely small portions. My husband had the steak frites, it was good but not enough food for him. I just wish the food had bigger portions.

Our family group of 6 had a great meal and a good time. The service was excellent.

Great food! Seems a bit understaffed and a little noisy. Overall we enjoy going there 👍

As always, the food and service always meet our expectations! Never disappoints. The staff were excellent and went above and beyond…one of our party was in a wheelchair and the staff did not hesitate in assisting, getting from the upper level to the window table. We were willing to sit above, but they insisted that we sit window side, especially since the was a large party up there! Having said that, I think it would be much more compliant if in the occasion when needed, there was a small portable(removable )ramp to allow easy access to the window seating! Thank you!
