Another wonderful evening @ Baserri. We enjoyed rice with mussels, prawns and scallops , anchovies, spinach, goats cheese and honey croquettes to start , followed by blue fin tuna with aubergine and tomatoes , and duck with beetroot, carrot and figs , all divine. Baserri really is a neighbourhood gem with incredibly talented kitchen & front of house teams. Russell & Bea as always so welcoming x

My partner and I visited for her birthday treat. We had the most amazing waiter called Olly. What a lovely person, you are blessed to have him working with you. He was so polite and attentive. He went out of his way to make it a special occasion. When we looked around the restaurant at him speaking with other customers, they were all smiling and clearly appreciated him as much as we did. Please pass our thanks to him

A real Italian restaurant, although with some changes to menu style to suit local expectations, this is a welcome change from the many chain restaurants that are the same everywhere. Very good food, and a reasonably extensive and not over-priced wine list. My veal was perfectly cooked (pink), as was my wife's fish. The portion sizes are reasonable, so don't be afraid to order a couple of side dishes. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Service was perhaps just a little too rapid for my taste, I'd have preferred a slightly longer wait to finish my cocktail, and between courses, but that's very much personal preference. We will certainly return.
