Fantastic place, a real gem. Pies are fully pastry encased and veg is buttery perfection. Burgers were meaty and mighty. Fries with rosemary are delicious

The whole experience was great, well organised, the staff attentive and the food I would describe as above the average pub grub level. Whilst the choice is limited it is very tastey. If you order drinks onboard, please be aware that you are paying a 10% service charge not just on the drinks but also on the cost of the initial cruise tickets. So if you order say 2 non-alcoholic drinks the service charge will be more than the cost of your drinks. Overall, we really enjoyed the experience of travelling on the Countess lunchtime cruise, a vey pleasant way of spending some time in Stratford and would recommend doing it but the cost can escalate.

Excellent! Good food choices, good portions, friendly efficient staff and good real ale. What’s not to like!

What a wonderful decision to stay and eat in! The food and service was as good as expected, and we met a couple of lovely guests seated next to us too!
