54th Street was founded in Kansas City, MO by Thomas E. Norsworthy in 1989. He envisioned a place that would accommodate a consistently crowded dining room as well as a lively bar crowd, while offering the quality food and drinks that exceed national chain competitors. At 54th Street, we believe that great food starts with fresh produce, high quality meats and ingredients and meals prepared from scratch. With our amazing range of scratch prepared menu items, we truly have something for everyone. The Five-Four promise is to forever uphold our tradition of serving generous portions of housemade food and drink at an honest price. 54th Street welcomes you for all occasions. Drop in for Happy Hour with friends, celebrate a special occasion, enjoy a family night out or fly solo! Ultimately, it’s your time. Join us, experience 54 and share the 54 experience with others.

In 1983, after the success of La Calle Doce, Oscar and Laura Sanchez wanted to open another restaurant but they didn’t want to duplicate their previous success nor did they want to open just another Tex-Mex restaurant. Oscar wanted something that wasn’t found in Dallas, something that reminded him of home. Since both Oscar and Laura are from Monterrey, Nuevo Leon in Northern Mexico, they decided to open a restaurant that specialized in Comida Norteño (northern food) and Tex-Mex featuring dishes such as cabrito, mollejas, and asado de puerco. Today El Ranchito is known for it’s authentic Mexican food, freshly made tortillas and festive atmosphere where mariachis play daily. These elements – the food, the music and the friendly staff – have helped El Ranchito achieve it’s ultimate goal of creating an atmosphere where the customer feels as if they are back home in Monterrey.

Chamas Do Brazil restaurant conjures up images of highly skilled Gauchos chefs, fine wine and superb services, and fresh salad bar, and while all this most certainly true, one no must forget at Chamas is above all experience. An exceptional dinning experience to be precise, but one that takes place in a casual atmosphere reminiscent of the quaint eateries, and wine bars of the Brazilian country side. And no wonder. Specialty dishes include perfectly prepared meat dishes using the finest and local ingredients, used on our grilled steaks, fillet mignon's, sirloins, pork chicken and shrimp, and seafood. All served with a world class wine menu to match. Chamas Do Brazil has received Wine's spectator's prestigious "Best of Award of Excellence" every year since we opened in 2014. It's a simple, colorful, elegant, and exceptional dinning experience.

After seeing mixed reviews of the new Campo Verde, I did my best to go in with no preconceived expectations, and ended up really enjoying my meal. We were a table of 6, most of us had one drink, we shared a couple appetizers and each ordered an entree. We paid separately so I can only speak for my portion, but the prices were reasonable compared to any other restaurant I normally go to, and my plate was HUGE. I ordered the braised chicken nachos and ended up taking most of it home. The chicken on them was cooked really well, each component had a good flavor, and the toppings were plentiful. The decor is fun and festive without being obnoxious or in the way. I really think if people would stop comparing it to what Campo Verde was before, or to the new owner's other restaurant, and just came to enjoy a meal - they'd be quite happy!

We have a favorite mexican restaurant we visit frequently and were wanting to try something different. We had visited El Ranchito many years ago in Dallas and had not tried the Arlington location. I'm so glad we stopped in! The service was great. The food was good and the mariachi bank was AMAZING! But wait, the margaritas!!! I'm usually tired of the taste after 1/2 of one.-not these!!! So delicious!!! I think we have found a new favorite restaurant!!!
