Best Authentic Restaurants in Lakewood / Bellflower

It was very delightful. You order your own food on your phone and then you get the check. 

We were sat behind schedule. But being at 9PM I was ok with being behind schedule as the ambiance is made for talking and having a great time. The hostess even offered a FREE alcoholic beverage for being late which we were very astonished about. The courses were great until we got the steak at the end. Mine was overly salted and I could barely chew it. It was the texture of a shoe and it was inedible. Other than the Steak which was very depressing, it was an amazing experience.

Service was good, staff was very attentive, however the kitchen was slow, we were only given 90 minutes to eat but it took the kitchen almost 20 minutes before getting our first order. Our server did give us extra time to order the last round. Food wise, meat quality was good, however the seasoning is really salty, we had to wash the garlic shrimp with waster. Salad dressings are also way too salty, not sure why it is so salty now. Not sure if we will go back to Gyukaku, there are many other choices for similar price.

food was excellent. ordered squid ink pasta, calamari appetizer, shrimp appetizer, garlic toast,and chicken parmesan. Service was outstanding. A very nice dining experience. Highly recommend.

Took awhile to get seated for brunch, party of 20, but great service!
