Overall a good meal and we were outside and given good and timely service both for food and drink. The only issue is that we sat at an outside table and there was full sunshine. The outside table umbrella was down so we put it up for reasonable shade, however there was no umbrella safety weight under the table. There was a gust of wind and the umbrella came out of the table and landed on one of our group. Luckily nobody was hurt but I would strongly recommend the addition of umbrella weighted stands below the table to maintain umbrella stability.

I decided to treat my partner and his sister to afternoon tea at Amberley Castle as on the website it looked great, it did not disappoint. The whole experience was exceptional and the afternoon tea was the best I have ever had, we all agreed it was the best. The staff were fantastic, polite, helpful and friendly, we will definitely go there again. I am hoping to actually stay there in the future as the Hotel is in lovely surroundings, well done to all the staff who work there you are doing a great job

Fabulous food. Delivered quickly and piping hot. Great using a tick list to order. Waiter advised amounts to order. Even questioned we might have too much bread. Friendly and attentive. Had to catch a train so missed out on the free limoncello. Will definitely be back
