Chef Sebby Holmes launched Farang back in 2016 after trading at street food markets throughout London. A year later he took up temporary residency in Farang's current home in Highbury & Islington. After excellent reviews, he took on the space permanently after his step-father retired and since, has gone from strength to strength. Farang was recently inducted into the National Restaurant Awards top 100 and awarded a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand, which we have kept four years running. We also received the Thai select award from the UK Thai Embassy which certifies authenticity and the freshness of our ingredients.We’re a young team of enthusiastic individuals, who over the last few years have bought our passion and skills to the table. Parties of six and larger, kindly contact the restaurant directly for reservations. These larger groups will be offered the shared feasting menu only and a deposit of £20 per head needs to be taken to confirm the booking, which will be deducted from your bill.

A small fish restaurant from the Four Legs team (The Plimsoll). A love letter to Spain and Portugal and the inspiration for all of the wet rice dishes now found across menus in the city. Viva la Inspiración. Tired of the loosely French inspired humdrum of restaurants popping up across the city of London? Do you like holidays? Do you like cold drinks and warm service? If you've answered yes to one or more of these then perhaps Tollington's can refresh both your palate and mind.The idea came from a mirror in an antiques market and a love for a more informal approach to dining, the result a chippy in North London with church pews bolted to the walls to be leaned on and eaten from. The focus is on fish but the menu transcends just fish, leaving no stone unturned in the never ending quest for flavour. In the warmer months the pavement becomes alive with customers and the food reflects the weather. In winter people huddle indoors and enjoy the heartier mountain foods of Iberia.

    Love this place. It's the best restaurant in Stratford, by far. It's worth the little challenge of finding it, as once you know where it is, you'll be back time and time again.

    The restaurant isn't massive but well laid out with comfortable seating. Although wheelchair acessible the toilets aren't as they are on another floor but upon booking wasn't made aware of this. The menu was adaptive where needed and our requests accomodated. The food was delicious and plentiful. The drinks that were on the drinks menu weren't all available which let it down slightly but an alternative was offered. We will definately eat there again in the future.

    Had a really great time, came here as a large group of 10 and everyone loved it. friendly service and fantastic food, the big plate chicken, lamb skewers & the aubergine were the favourites. would definitely recommend this restaurant & will hopefully be back again.
