Best Authentic Restaurants in Avalon Park

I ordered the light portion of jerk chicken pasta. There wasn’t any chicken in it. The server returned it to the kitchen after I brought it to his attention. When he returned it did have chicken but the pasta wasn’t hot. I ate some but was taking it home. Later I got very sick I did not eat any of it at home and threw it out. I’ve had it many times before but never had an experience like this.

My wife and I came for dinner after I saw the great reviews. Well, I feel they are warranted. The food is the standout here as it should be. It is modern and it is delicious. They have classic Italian dishes but fun little flourishes that give it a bit more flair. The lasagna is massive and it’s massively delicious too. The porchetta is fantastic as well. I could sit there and eat that delicious pork and risotto all day long. The bruschetta was wonderful! They have goat cheese (a personal favorite of mine) and these great little balsamic balls that explode with flavor too. I get the feeling they are pretty new as I saw what seemed like new employees making little mistakes. I had an eggplant dish brought to our table that wasn’t ours. I saw another waiter drop off the wrong dish at another table while we were getting seated too. Not a problem though, and everyone was just so friendly. If I lived in the area I’d come back often.

Small place but the food was good. They had 5 specials on the board including seafood dishes. Everyone was happy with their choices

Always a fabulous dinner, we are early diners at their original space. The service is excellent. All the staff is super friendly. It’s one of our favorite restaurants 1978 , very talented chef. The whole family is awesome. I especially recommend the Puttanesca. My husband’s favorite are the fettuccine and the lobster and mushroom raviolis They have one of the best tiramisu also. The prices are also very reasonable for what I consider upscale dishes. You can also get pizza which I hear is great
