Best Authentic Restaurants in Westelijke Eilanden/Gouden Reael

Cozy spot near the Renaissance Amsterdam Centraal. Really enjoyed the food, we both had pasta dishes. Wine was good and reasonably priced. The restaurant got busy, definitely recommend reservations.

Really impressed with our visit yesterday. My friend has severe allergies and all she’s been able to eat all week was a certain fast food chain because every restaurant we visited couldn’t cater for her allergy requirements. But as soon as we arrived and spoke to Alvaro it was clear Hard Rock were different. Alvaro immediately put my friend at ease as he was so knowledgeable about each dish and he helped her to understand what she could have. He was absolutely fantastic and the food was yummy!! Also really reasonably priced! Alvaro is a credit to your team!!

We loved Jottum, small venue outside the main tourist thoroughfare. Excellent tapas all around, best meal we have had in Amsterdam no pretension just great food in a charming location. We have a strict gluten-free diner in our party and they had plenty of menu items to accommodate. The coffee and desserts were also excellent. Will try to go a second time before we leave Amsterdam.

Great food!! Highly recommend! We had the lasagne and chicken schnitzel with spinach and potatoes. Such a great atmosphere inside and curbside. Nice family owned restaurant and so worth the short ride from the W Marriott. Service was quick, friendly and very good 👍🏻

Food, service and atmosohere were all great. Quantity and quality of the rijsttafel both excellent. We were disappointed by the desserts, however. They were tiny and not that tasty.
